A little research on sleep health and compare those who work near the window and the window showed that regular exposure to natural light scored better. The work lacks natural light scored worse on all eight components of the survey, especially the part about checking "vitality", MNN said.
"We really want to look at a number of health problems related to the lack of natural light people," Mohamed Boubekri, lead researcher from the University of Illinois, said.
Research also indicates that workers exposed primarily to artificial light sleep less than the average 46 minutes per night compared to peers. In contrast, people working near windows sleep, life seems positive and more energy to do other things.
The topic of health workers related to natural light have not been studied extensively. Previously, a 1997 study in the field of "preventive medicine" has called for the construction of consideration of natural light problems in their design.
The results of the study are published in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine .
